The web ring concept for Solo's group events, and the associated scripts, were created by Fran Moore. Elizabeth Bravo assisted in writing the journal text. SoJie 8 web ring image is included automatically in each journal.
The following journal is customized for Exhibitors. If you are EXHIBITING in the show, FIND YOUR NAME in the select menu, below, and select your name from the list. Your image information will then be automatically filled in for your journal.
If you are a SUPPORTER (NOT an exhibitor): e.g., host, nominator, judge, family member or friend, you can make your own JOURNAL on REDBUBBLE, supporting the show. Click the first option, in the menu above, that says "Supporter". Add that code to the very end of your own journal. The code adds the WebRing graphic and its link to the END of your Journal. A click on the round web ring graphic on the public page of your journal, will add your supporting journal to the ring, also!
The list is alphabetized by First name or moniker.
Once you save your new journal, and are sure of the title, press Red Bubble's gray rectangular button that reads, "Show Public View". You will now be on the public page of your journal, where visitors will leave comments. NOW, click the round web ring graphic, which is at the base of your journal, to automatically add yourself to the ring. (Please do NOT change the TITLE of your journal, once you click the web ring graphic and add yourself to the ring.)
The last one in the ring always links to the first one in the ring, until the next person joins. Keep clicking the round web ring graphic, at the base of each journal to travel around the ring and network with your fellow exhibitors. The ring will grow! It starts small and grows large! Get in as soon as you can.
We have had 45-50 people in each SoJie ring. It's a fun way to network with other Nominees, Nominators, and supporters! Plus, your friends who aren't members of Solo, can join in the fun and support you and travel the ring congratulating other exhibitors they know, too. As it is throughout RedBubble, anyone on the web can view the show, but only group members can leave comments in the group forum.
